The Times They Are a Changin'

As I sit here writing my very first blog entry I can't help but marvel at the way things have changed in our business. Who would have thought 20 years ago the HVAC business would have made the type of advances that we have seen. Solar energy, advancements in air quality systems, ultra energy efficient units, programmable thermostats that you can change using your cell phone are all examples of just how far technology has taken us.

Incredible advancement in technology in the HVAC business has taken place in the last 20 years.

And, 20 years ago I would have never imagined that I would be communicating with our customers by writing a blog on the Internet!

Today everything is smaller, lighter, and more compact. Everyone is concerned with energy savings and we have a government standard to rate the energy efficiency of our cooling units (SEER). Because of these advancements replacing versus repairing an old unit often makes sense because of the savings in energy costs.
